Chapter 1: How is work changing?

What do we talk about when we talk about the changing nature of work? In this chapter we look at history and how work has changed from the industrial revolution until today. We look at the ongoing change which affects the individual, organisation and society.

This week consists of three sections. In the first section we take a historical overview. Changing work is anything but new for a human kind. How has this change looked in the past 200 years? The following section, the ongoing change, describes the current challenges we are facing in times of digital revolution. Section 3 of the chapter wraps up with key takeaways regarding the change of work.
